Delete Your Pochi Account
Here's how to delete your account and data for the Android app Pochi (contact: [email protected]).
Delete it right in the app#
- Open the Pochi app and tap your avatar in the top right of the home screen to go to Profile.
- Scroll to the very bottom and tap Delete account below Sign out.
- Check what will be deleted, and decide whether to select Also erase data on this phone (it's on by default).
- Type DELETE in the confirmation box.
- Tap Delete account and you're done. You'll see a "Your account has been deleted" message and return to the sign-in screen.
You need to be connected to the internet. If deletion on the server fails, you'll see an error and nothing will be deleted, so please try again a little later.
What gets deleted#
When you delete your account, the following information on the server is all deleted immediately and cannot be restored.
- Profile: nickname, tag, avatar, profile photo
- Records: records posted to rankings, daily records such as short-form counts, limits and whether you kept them by date, access records
- Server backup
- Titles earned and the title you're wearing
- Friend list, cheers sent and received, your invite code and friend invite records
- Ratings and feedback left in the app, error logs, problem reports
- Kakao, Naver and Google sign-in connections (including sign-in information such as your email)
- Administrator permissions, if you had any
Records stored on this phone (short-form counts, streak, seeds, schedules) are deleted too if you select Also erase data on this phone. If you don't select it, only your account is deleted and the records stay on this phone. Uninstalling the app also erases all records on this phone.
If you sign in again with the same account, you'll start fresh as a new account without your old records.
What remains#
Unless the law specifically requires us to keep certain information, nothing is kept.
- Records of actions taken by administrators (for example, "Posted a notice") remain, but who did them is erased so it can no longer be identified.
Note: the app tries to remove the connection record on the sign-in company's side, but if it remains, you can delete it yourself.
- Kakao: KakaoTalk → Settings → Kakao Account → Manage connected services
- Naver: Naver → My Info → History → Manage connected services
- Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services
If you can't use the app (request by email)#
If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, please send us an email.

After confirming it's you, we'll delete all your information within 7 days and let you know by reply.
